When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer from your account. In certain circumstances, such as for technical or processing reasons, we may process your payment as a check transaction. If we make a one-time electronic funds transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account the same day you make your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.

For security purposes, please do not send cash or request CODs. In addition, please do not include your credit card number on any email communication.

When do you charge my Credit Card?
We do not charge your credit card until the date we ship your merchandise to you. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for typographical errors.

What happens if my order is shipped in multiply shipments?
If your order is sent in multiple shipments (either to the same destination or to different destinations), your credit card will be charged separately for each shipment.

What are your shipping charges?
Ground Shipping is our standard method of shipping. Shipping starts at $7.00 and goes up based on quantity ordered. Upgraded shipping is available for additional charge.

International shipping will be completed via International Economy. $65.00 is our International Shipping Fee except for Canada. $30.00 for shipments delivered to Canada. Additional Fees may apply.

Taxes and Duties are not applied to your total at checkout. Duties and Tax are imposed on the importation of foreign goods into your Country. If you have questions regarding your bill please contact the phone number listed on your bill or Fed Ex. Please be advised SatyaRai is not responsible for this charge and will have limited participation in resolving billing issues.

If a package is refused and /or returned to SatyaRai due to non payment of taxes and duties the unpaid amount will be charged to your credit card on file. If taxes and duties are billed to Sender and not Recipient the unpaid amount will be charged to your credit card on file. Once the shipment enters your country you are responsible for this charge.

United States Postal Service will be used for all Overseas Military and will be charged standard domestic shipping rates.

Please be advised an indirect signature will be required if billing and shipping information is different. Satya Rai is not responsible for orders if shipping information differs from billing information.

Online Store Policy

Most accessories including scarves will be on a pre-order status if item is out of stock. All other items will not be available once sold out. If you would like an order partially shipped, additional shipping charges will apply.

You will receive a Fed Ex Tracking # via email once your order has been processed. Once received please contact Fed Ex for any questions regarding delivery. We are not responsible for your shipment once it has left our location. We will however, assist in any shipping error or missing package only after customer has contacted Fed Ex and needs our additional assistance.

How does pre-orders work?
Please note that the delivery date is an estimated shipping date. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates for preorder items due to unforeseen delays in production. We are a Fair Trade Company, which means we promote fair wages and safe working environments. This in turn can slow production but it allows our Artisans a better living wage for themselves and a better life for their families. All items are charged in full at time of processing, including Pre-order item(s). Pre-order items will be shipped immediately upon receiving. We will not accept any cancellations once Pre-order item(s) is processed. (Please see cancellations below ). All International Orders with a Pre-Order item will be shipped in full. If you would like items to be shipped as available please contact info@satyarai.com to request shipping exception. Please be advised additional shipping charges may apply.

What is a Store Credit?
Once returned item(s) is received and accepted for return a store credit will be issued with a Gift Cert. You will receive a Return Receipt along with a GIFT CERT CODE via email. To use a store credit, simply place a new order and enter your code in the gift cert section. Amount will be immediately applied and total adjusted at time of checkout. You will receive an updated paid invoice with item(s) sent. Please be advised all shipping charges are excluded from credits given - the total store credit is the of price of item(s) only.

* PLEASE NOTE GIFT CERTS ARE ONLY VALID WHEN PLACING A NEW ORDER AT satyarai.com. They are not available for purchase or redeemable at any other web store or affiliated boutique. All Gift Certs (Store Credits) will expire 6 months from time issued. Once expired credit will not be refunded and Gift Cert will be invalid.

Cancellations

Please be advised that once an order has been placed, we are unable to make any changes to the order including cancellation.

Returns and Exchanges

All returned items will be given an internet store credit only, no exceptions, NO REFUNDS. All Sale Items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. We will not accept items that are damaged upon opening package with sharp tools.

Satya Rai prides itself in the highest quality merchandise possible. Our scarves are all handmade in India. Please note each piece is unique and the color may vary. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on any scarf. All scarves are FINAL SALE.

If for some reason you aren’t satisfied with your clothing purchase, please return your unused and unworn item in its original condition within 7 days and we will provide you with an online store credit (Gift Cert valid for 6 months) or exchange less shipping costs. Please do not return any sale merchandise, as you will not be given store credit.

Additional shipping charge may apply for exchanges.

For items received past the 7 days there will be a 20% restocking fee. Please note the purchaser is responsible for shipping charges if item(s) is returned for different sizes/colors etc. Items purchased on our website may not be returned to any of the boutiques that carry our line. We also do not accept returns on items that were purchased in a boutique that carries our line.

Please note it is at our discretion if item will be accepted for return or exchange.

Please note cash refunds are not allowed.

All items are inspected before shipping but if something is being returned due to quality issues, it must be returned in original packaging with the original invoice. SatyaRai will not accept an item returned with obvious signs of wear or with any original tags removed. Please call to receive your return number prior to shipping item back.

We recommend that you insure your return and get proof of delivery in case your package is lost in transit. We will not be responsible for a return that never reaches our location.

Please call 480-813-2168 Ext 221 to obtain a return number that needs to be included on the outside of your package. You may also email support@satyarai.com for return # or any further questions you may have regarding your order, returns, or exchanges.

How can I check the status of my order?
You may check the status of your order by logging into SatyaRai.com account and clicking on the View Order History tab. You cannot check your orders status unless you have an online account.

You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been received. In addition, we will send you an email when your order has shipped, and this will include the UPS tracking number for your package.

How can I retrieve my account password?
Please go the MY Account section and click on the Forgot Password link. Please enter the email address you used to sign into your account and we'll send you a temporary password to that email address.

Once you have logged in using your temporary password, go to the profile section of the My Account page and select the Change Password link to change your password to something you will remember.

Do I need an account to make an online purchase?
No, you may check-out without creating an account, just select "CheckOut Anonymously" option on the checkout page. Accounts are helpful for those who wish to store billing information.

How do I receive web promotions or special offers from SaytaRai.com?
To receive special offers and be altered about sales, join the SaytaRai.com mailing list. There is a box for the email address located on the lower left hand corner of every page. Enter your email address and click the "Submit" button.

USING A PROMOTIONAL CODE

From time to time we have special offers that can be applied to your order by using a promotional code that we provide to you. In order to take advantage of these promotions, you must enter the promotional code in the space provided on the Checkout page (found in the lower left hand corner) and hit the "apply" button. The value of the promotion will be applied to your order and will not appear as a separate line item.
